I’m making prostate cancer history.
I’m taking on The Long Run
This September for Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, I’m giving it all I’ve got by taking part in The Long Run.
This cause is deeply personal to me. In late May 2026, my husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer following a routine check-up. He had zero symptoms, but catching it early made all the difference—a month later, he successfully underwent a prostatectomy.
His history is proof that early detection saves lives. By sharing his journey, I hope to raise awareness so more men get checked before it's too late.
Prostate cancer is Australia’s leading cause of cancer, with 79 men newly diagnosed every day.
Will you donate today to raise funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and help end the pain of prostate cancer? Together, we can make prostate cancer history.
Thank you for your support. 💙🙏
Boa Katia, keep running!
