I’m making prostate cancer history.

Well, September has been and gone.
Thank you all so much for your generosity.
I am delighted to say that you have donated far more than I was expecting. In total you contributed $1110 to the Prostate Cancer Foundation to help them continue their groundbreaking research and furthering our understanding of this all-too-common disease.
Following (mostly) advice from my physio, who was helping me cope with back pain, I eased off from my cycling in the last week or so. Hence I only managed to clock up 283km for the month. 
Overall, a fantastic contribution to PCFA

Keep on going, regardless

A recent few days off for bad weather, work, and now a sore back.
However, now resumed riding and have clocked a total of 212 km so far,
I keep thinking of those poor men, and their loved ones, recently diagnosed and struggling to come to terms with the diagnosis, not to mention some pretty unpleasant side effects from treatment.
We'll keep going:)

Being more ambitious

Thank you all for contributing so generously.
I'm awed that you have donated so much towards reducing the toll that prostate cancer inflicts on so many men.
So I've decided to put more effort in and reset my target to 150 km.
My first entry of distance is cumulative for first 6 days. I haven't quite sorted out how to use this new-fangled technology:)

Prostate cancer is Australia’s leading cause of cancer, with 72 men newly diagnosed every day.
