I’m making prostate cancer history.

My story

Hi friends, over the years I've had quite a few friends impacted by prostate cancer. Some have responded well to treatment, others weren't so lucky. In my profession as a firefighter the risk increases even further. It wasn't until I was diagnosed with this cancer that it made me reflect on these friends and the impact this has on individuals, families and friends.

If you can donate to team Smithers or me to assist in funding for additional research through The Long Run it would be greatly appreciated. This is not a competition to win the greatest amount of fund-raising, this is about reducing the impact on individuals and families. I feel very loved and supported by my family as we participate together.

Off and running

Hi friends, thanks for the donations so far, the gun has fired and we're under way. Hopng to assist with prostate cancer research to help others, i know how my life has been impacted after being diagnosed. Life does go on but I'm one of the lucky ones. My progress on The Long Run

Hi friends, my km's are adding up and I'm feeling good, cycling and walking, I've exceeded my initial goal and now reset my goal show I can go the distance. 72 men are diagnosed in Australia every day with prostate cancer. If you can spare a dollar i would greatly appreciate it to help the Prostate Cancer Foundation support men and families through research and support. Thanks
