I’m making prostate cancer history.
I’m taking on The Long Run
This September for Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, I’m giving it all I’ve got by taking part in The Long Run.
Prostate cancer is Australia’s leading cause of cancer, with 79 men newly diagnosed every day.
I am running on honour of my late granddad, Brian Tuohey, who bravely battled prostate cancer. This cause means a lot to me and my family, as we have seen first hand the impact that prostrate cancer can have on individuals and the people who love them. By taking part, I hope to honour Pa Brian’s strength and memory while helping raise awareness and support for those affected by prostate cancer.
