I’m making prostate cancer history.
I’m taking on The Long Run
Last year on the 22nd December (my 50th birthday) I was given the news nobody ever wants to hear. I was sat down and told I had Prostate Cancer. F@&k!!!
I was diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer with a Gleeson 9 score.
After finding an awesome Urologist I had my Prostate robotically removed on the 28th Feb this year.
I am now cancer free and have to have blood test every 3 months to stay on top of it.
This September for Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, I’m giving it all I’ve got by taking part in The Long Run.
Prostate cancer is Australia’s leading cause of cancer, with 79 men newly diagnosed every day.
Will you donate today to raise funds for Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and help end the pain of prostate cancer? Together, we can make prostate cancer history.
Thank you. 💙🙏

Good on you Townsy, so glad you were on top of this early mate. You certainly influenced my decision to get checked again and just reminded me to go again. Hope your well mate.

Well done Kane, I’m happy to hear your outlook is good after the bad diagnosis. My brother and I have been both diagnosed in 2024 with prostate cancer after the death of our father and uncle from metastasized prostate cancer.
