We’re taking on The Long Run for Mates!

Miles for Mates — getting Together to Make a Difference

This September, for Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, our team Miles for Mates is taking on The Long Run to raise funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.

We’re getting together to put in the kilometres, challenge ourselves and, most importantly, raise awareness and funds for a cause that affects so many Australian men and their families.

Prostate cancer is Australia's leading cause of cancer, with 79 men newly diagnosed every day.

Behind every one of those numbers is a mate, a dad, a husband, a brother, a son or someone we know.

For some of us, prostate cancer is already part of our personal story. For others, it’s a reminder that this is something that could affect any of us, or someone we love, at any time.

That's why we've chosen the name Miles for Mates.

Because we're not just doing this for ourselves. We're doing it for our mates, our families and everyone affected by prostate cancer.

Throughout September, we'll be getting out there and putting in the miles — whether that's walking, running or simply getting moving — and encouraging each other along the way.

But we can't do it without your support.

Every donation, big or small, will help the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia continue its work in research, awareness, support and advocacy.
