I’m making prostate cancer history.
I’m taking on The Long Run for My Dad
This September, I’m taking on The Long Run for my dad, Colin and for every family like ours.I’ll be walking, running, cycling 144km- 2km for every one of the 72 men a day in Australia diagnosed with prostate cancer.Â
Dad was recently diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer. If you know him, you know he’s never been one to slow down. He’s hardworking, sharp, stubborn (in the best way), and even with everything going on, always looking out for others.
I’m also running for my Uncle Malcolm; one of my absolute favourite people  who’s been through prostate cancer too. Supporting the Prostate Cancer Foundation means backing the research and treatments that give families like ours a fighting chance.
In Australia, 72 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every single day. That’s 72 families facing something they never saw coming. But there’s hope because of research, support, and awareness.
By doing The Long Run, I’m raising funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia. They invest in lifesaving research and provide vital support to families navigating this disease.
If you can, please donate. If not, sharing this or even just talking to the men in your life can make a real difference. Awareness saves lives!
This is for my dad. For my uncle. For your dad, your brother, yourÂ
