I’m making prostate cancer history.

Prostate journey

My journey started in 2010 age 55 had a biopsy done while in hospital for an unrelated procedure and came back that I had low grade prostate cancer “ bombshell” ! 
Long story short 
2010-2016 Active surveillance with 6 monthly checks 
2016 radical prostatectomy with cancer contained in prostate ( terrible side effects ) being alive is better 
Next 5-6 years 12 monthly tests all ok 
Next 5 years slowly rising .33 had PET scan this year showed nothing but oncologist recommended something needs to be done 
On 28/7/25 started 33 treatments of radiation not fussed on hormone therapy and had last treatment today 10/9/25 age 70 . The staff at Mater Hospital Waratah are brilliant . 
Will have a psa blood test in the next 5 weeks and hopefully results will be great. 
Side Note: 
Both my father in-laws have had prostate cancer along with 3 of my friends and another couple of friends with cancer and another that passed away . GET TESTED !!!!!!!!
The age men are diagnosed is coming down and more men getting it.
