Walking is fun. Each day there is more of God's creation to amaze me. 
Currently, I am not walking for fun or just because it is good for me, but to draw attention to as many people as I can, to one of the important needs in our community. To raise funds for research into detecting and overcoming prostate cancer. I am grateful that mine was discovered early, but that is not always the case. It emphasises the importance of this fundraising. Walking by itself does little apart from wearing out the soles of my shoes but if it encourages you to give a small donation as you think about the men you know who have or are experiencing this problem I am extremely grateful. I have raised my monetary goal to $1000. $770 raised already. Only $230 to go. I have already reached 67Km of my original goal of 60Km and anticipate reaching the 72 Km soon.
