I am running in honour of everyone affected by prostate cancer.

I am running as a survivor

i'm giving it all i've got

121km

of 72km

12 months after being diagnosed with locally advanced prostate cancer. Having biopsy, surgery and treatments. I’m dedicated to giving back. I’m trying to say a BIG thank you to all of the support I’ve been given (with the help of my sponsors!!)

I'm trying to raise awareness for men's health, in particular prostate cancer and the importance of seeing your GP and getting it checked (early!!) by doing what I know best and that’s running 🏃‍♂️ 

I began with the idea for the LONG RUN by entering a Ultra Marathon in September, the training has really tested my body since recovering from surgery, radiotherapy and ADT. Unfortunately I've sustained a quite serious injury that needs time to heal. I'm still intending to push on with walking 72kms throughout September as a challenge to myself to raise funds for Prostate Cancer Foundation Australia (PCFA). 

Prostate Cancer will not stop me doing the things I love.

Hopefully future generations of men, like me will benefit immensely.
