Well 300 kms has been and gone( due to my early start) but who knows how far we’ll go.

2024 The Long Run 1

Hi Friends
I know I am repeating things you may know but to emphasise why I am doing The long Run… here we go.
In 2023 after 7 years prostate cancer decided to have another go. 
With the support of our highly trained medical personnel Ian began ray treatment to 🤞🏻🤞🏻finally beat off this recurrence. It meant a strict daily regime of treatment, very early starts, careful diet and preparation. 
All this without knowing if it would work, how well it would work and the long term temporary and permanent affects.
Thankfully Ian’s positive attitude and stoicism to what he confronted saw him achieve an excellent result confirmed only a this month (June’24).
So yes I am out to raise funds for the cause that has seen cutting edge technologies vastly improve outcomes for our men.
I would love it if you could support me walking 300 km this September.

This September for Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, I’m giving it all I’ve got by taking part in The Long Run.

Prostate cancer is Australia’s leading cause of cancer, with 70 men newly diagnosed every day.
