I’m taking on The Long Run
This September for Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, I’m giving it all I’ve got by taking part in The Long Run.
Prostate cancer is Australia’s leading cause of cancer, with 79 men newly diagnosed every day.
In 2023 my 48 year old husband was one of those 79 men. In July 2025 he lost his brief but hard faught battle with a very aggresive form of this cancer. I promised him I would continue to share his story and help everyone understand that prostate cancer isn't an "old man's disease".
