I’m taking on The Long Run

This September, for Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, I’m taking on my very first Long Run – and it’s a cause that means so much to me. 💙

As my first goal, I’ll be running 72km throughout September to symbolically represent the 72 men diagnosed with prostate cancer in Australia every day. Then, I’ll take on 10km in the Run the Coast GC50 event on 11th October 2025, all in support of the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.

I’m running in honour of my Grandad, Owen Williams. He’s one of the kindest people I know and has always lived life to the fullest, keeping active and positive no matter what. Taking part in this challenge is my way of showing support for him, fighting to raise funds, and helping work towards the goal of finding a cure for prostate cancer.
