I’m taking on The Long Run
This September for Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, I’m giving it all I’ve got by taking part in The Long Run. Or in my case, The Long Walk.
Prostate cancer is Australia’s leading cause of cancer, with 72 men newly diagnosed every day. I am one of the lucky ones after my prostatectomy five years ago (August this year) and so far, cancer free. However I have mates that weren’t so lucky and are still battling through some pretty awful treatments. I have also mates that have died from PC.
