Today’s walk

Mid-way weekend, we took a walk over Mt Nelson.

Weekend walking

Went for a lovely walk around Kettering and Oyster Bay on the weekend. Notched up another 9.5km.

Thank you! I'm blown away by your generosity.  I've already doubled my fundraising target due to you wonderful people. PCFA will be happy and it's great to think we are supporting men and those who love them living with prostate cancer.

Win Win too, because I did a 7.3 km walk today. The good news for me is that a lot of it was up hill and in cardio zone 2 (50min). Apparently that's the good zone for fat burning and supports any training to build muscle  and general good health for longevity. 

Let’s Do This

My younger brother Geoff is one of the 20% of men diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in their lifetimes. He’s doing ok at the moment, but it’s a bit of a shock when you’re only in your early 50s. It’s in our family  apparently, I’m walking 72km in September to raise awareness and a few bucks for prostate cancer research.

I’m taking on The Long Run

This September, I’m helping love go the distance by taking part in The Long Run.
