I’m taking on The Long Run/walk
This September for Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, I’m giving it all I’ve got by taking part in The Long Run, but really will be walking. I've set myself a goal to loose 10kgs (hoping 15kgs) by 9th November. The reason for the weight loss program is that I have been diagnosed with prostate cancer and will have surgery in November.
Prostate cancer is Australia’s leading cause of cancer, with 72 men newly diagnosed every day. I was one of those 72 on July 18 2024.
