I’m making prostate cancer history.
Collection day!
Well, we have achieved over $2,500. Wow! Not bad for a group of oldies. We will have to aim to do better next year. Maybe we can challenge other Retirement Villages to take on the Shuffle.Nearly there
At just over a week after our Long Shuffle @ Bentley Park, we have done quite a bit more than we hoped, and the money is now coming in from donors and sponsors. We are delighted with the result, and look forward to advising our total next week. One week to go
Next week, we do our Long Shuffle, and we are delighted that so many of our residents have taken up the challenge. Most of them are in the age group 70-90, and so far have decided they will endeavour to Shuffle more than 120km together, and 2.88km in the pool! Wow!The Long Shuffle at Bentley Park has begun

I’m taking on The Long Run
This August for Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, I’m giving it all I’ve got by taking part in The Long Shuffle at Bentley Park.
The minimum age at our Retirement Village is 55 years, and we have some residents over 100. We are asking our residents to aim at doing multiples of 790m, because for many of us, that is all we can manage.
Prostate cancer is Australia’s leading cause of cancer, with 79 men newly diagnosed every day.
Will you donate today to raise funds for Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and help end the pain of prostate cancer? Together, we can make prostate cancer history.
Thank you. 💙🙏
