I’m making prostate cancer history.
I’m taking on The Long Run
This September for Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, I’m giving it all I’ve got (well some of it anyhows) by taking part in The Long Run. All dollars raised go to the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
I am doing this for all the brothers out there who are fighting this beast and have had their prostates removed, and those like me who are continuing the fight and learning to closely watch him and live with this scourge deep inside us.
The 72k’s I reckon on doing represents the 72 men newly diagnosed every day. 72 every day, dang that’s a lot.
I am hoping some of you good folk out there can kick in a couple of bucks to help research beat this bugger. Who knows, maybe the dollar you donate will help me keep my prostate down the track (I have grown attached to the little guy over the years and would love to keep him).
Together, we can make prostate cancer history.
