I’m making prostate cancer history.
I’m taking on The Long Run
My dad, Ian Grieve OAM, was the strongest person I knew. Even while undergoing treatment for prostate cancer, he showed incredible courage and still took part in The Long Run each year. His determination inspired everyone around him, and I miss him every single day.
This September, during Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, I’m taking on The Long Run in his memory. I’ll be giving it everything I’ve got, just as he did, to raise funds and awareness for a cause that meant so much to him.
Prostate cancer is Australia’s leading cause of cancer, with 72 men diagnosed every single day. Too many families, like mine, know the heartbreak it brings.
