I’m taking on The Long Run
Running for my husband and brother – Help Me Fight Prostate Cancer 💙
This September, I'm lacing up my running shoes for a cause that’s incredibly personal: the fight against prostate cancer. I'm participating in a long run to raise awareness and funds for research, treatment, and support — in honour of two important men in my life: my husband and my brother.
Both were diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2024 and 2025. Both faced the shock, the surgeries, and the uncertainty. Their journeys have been emotional and challenging. Watching them fight this disease has made me realise just how crucial early detection, medical advancements, and ongoing support are for patients and families alike.
This run is my way of turning fear into action and love into purpose.
Every step I take is for them — and for the 1 in 8 men who will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime.
