I’m taking on The Long Run!

This September, I’m taking part in The Long Run.

I’ve committed to conquering 72KMs to raise funds and awareness for Aussie men and families fighting prostate cancer.

Please support me by making a tax deductible donation to Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.

Together, we can make sure our fathers, brothers, sons, husbands and mates will be there for the long run.

My Updates

Thursday 27th Aug
I'm excited to commit to this event.

This cause is close to my heart for a number of reasons including:

- My dad was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in the mid 2000's while he was in his 60's.  Thank goodness it was diagnosed early and they were able to treat it with wonderful results, allowing our family many more years with him before he left us.  Memories of all of his grandchildren being able to get to know him and play with him are so precious and may not have been if it weren't for early diagnosis and treatment.

-I am a male of 50+ years so am entering into the higher risk period of life and I want to be around and spend as much quality time with my children and wife as possible.

-I coach and runs mens groups with a focus on busy dads.  I want to see all them SURVIVE and THRIVE

I hope you'll all join me by donating and/or joining my team.

I will keep regular updates so you can all track my progess.

Who knows - an added benefit may be I lose weight and get healthier which can only be a good thing :)
